SPEAKER SERIES TONIGHT!!! DR. JOY DEGRUY

Over the course of the last few years, I have been wanting to utilize my retail space for more thoughtful and elevated purposes. The goal has always been to create community whether it be through product, knowledge or just safety - knowing you have a place to come to and be yourself.

I am really thrilled to be hosting one of my favorite people  Dr. Joy Degruy at the shop!

n an effort to create an environment to talk about the reality of the situation, we hope that you will join us. With knowledge always comes preparedness and power! 

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the same community as Dr. Joy and I owe a lot of my education about race in my formative years to her. She has since gone on to write a book called Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome.  Seriously, I can go on and on about her accolades and accomplishments and list of clientele, however it really means nothing until you actually have an opportunity to hear her speak and understand what kind of service she offers us at this critical time in history.
