Today marks the 14th anniversary of Aaliyah's passing. I still remember exactly where I was when I heard of the tragic accident that took her life. It was so surreal, she was so young and at the prime of her career. I wasn't ready, and neither was the rest of the world. She provided a voice to that generation, and still after all this time, she remains ever so relevant and like a true icon, always on time.
In commemoration of her memory, here is a cover that Frank Ocean did of "At Your Best" which is originally an Isley Bros. cover. I really didn't think anyone outside of Aaliyah could do it justice, but Frank always comes through.
